St. Connall's Well is a hidden holy well at a remote spot on the edge of Lough Gill, it's off the road and down the end of a gated lane.
It was unpreposessing at first glance. Some careful placements became slowly visible as I explored the site.
I didn't actually see the Brigid's Cross in the near ground until I was back in the studio.
Around the back of the well, in a large Yew tree which is unusual in itself, many separate items were very carefully placed.
As well as the various cloth ties and tied grasses common at holy wells.
